I can get a stable recording nor mix session. This is a dedicated machine, no additional programs are running, not using any third party plugins, only using PT factory plugins. I'm using Pro Tools 8.0.5 on OSX 10.6.8 on MacPro1,1 on woodcrest 2.66GHz Xeon Quad with 8gb ram. If I'm not mistaken, I have everything setup right. See attached screenshot to see a picture of my current HUI device properties in Audio Midi Studio Setup. *Synchronization is not enabled for MTC Reader And Generator in Peripherals setup *Midi Machine Control is not enabled under Machine Control in Peripherals setup ![]() *Both Devices are setup correctly in Midi Controllers in Setup>Peripherals *Both devices are enabled in Midi Beat Clock & Midi Input Enable in Setup>Midi. *The main controller is named HUI 1 & the Extender is named HUI 2 *Both Devices are configured correctly in the Audio Midi Studio Setup *Both Devices are connected to my MacPro via M-Audio MidiSport 4x4 (which is pro tools compatible) I have created a youtube video of my issue so you guys can see my device in action when the issue occurs. & I am not having any luck finding anything on the web when googling these symptoms as I don't know the technical name of this issue. I've tried calling the Mackie support hotline but they have been (mysteriously) closed for the past two weeks. these symptoms occur with both my MCU & the extender. Please help me sort this out, if anyone knows of a fix, please tell me. During a mix session or when recording, my controller will suddenly make a click noise, lock out & stop communicating with Pro Tools. Recently my Mackie MCU + MCU XT began exhibiting weird behavior in Pro Tools via HUI Mode.
